This trip was spur of the moment, we were traveling from Loharjung to Kathgodam and a bus to catch from Haldwani at 10:30 PM. We were scheduled to reach Kathgodam at around 5 PM, with nothing to do in Kathgodam/Haldwani we decided to spend time in Bheemtal which is on the way around 1 hour before Kathgodam.
We took the cab to Paragliding site, booked our paragliding with SkyBird Adventures. We were told that paragliding time is between 2 to 10 min depending on wind and weight, but on reaching at the take off site, we observed time of flight is always 2 min irrespective of wind and weight.
We reached Bheemtal at 4:30 PM, cab dropped us at Bheemtal Lake. Our first target is to do Paragliding. Since the paragliding was about to close at around 5:30.
Paragliding experience was amazing, I think it matters very little how much time you are in air because major parts are take off and landing and feeling in air is kind of same except when pilot show his skills and swings the glider and do other moments.
After collecting pictures we came back to Bheemtal Lake. We spent some time on the Lake, did boating and at 8 PM we continued our journey to Haldwani.
